Partnering
Invest in German agrivoltaics and storage with Ylektra.
In short
We originate land with farmers, take projects through zoning, permitting and grid connection, and build them. Institutional investors join at the stage that fits their mandate.

The market
Why Germany, why now
Germany has set binding solar targets, and the land for them increasingly has to serve farming at the same time.
Sources: Federal Network Agency and BSW-Solar via pv magazine (August 2026); German Environment Agency, factsheet on solar on arable land (2025), citing Fraunhofer ISE; Ylektra Agrivoltaics Atlas based on the Market Master Data Register (October 2026); BDEW (November 2025).
Our thesis
Why agrivoltaics with storage
Land with local support
Farming continues on at least 85 % of the area. Farmers and municipalities stay partners, which helps zoning and permitting.
More value per grid connection
Storage moves midday solar into higher-priced hours and lets one connection carry more energy and more revenue.
More than one route to revenue
EEG tenders, power purchase agreements and merchant models. Our Soest project is built outside the EEG, with the local utility as offtaker.
Close to regulation
We follow the EEG 2027 reform from the first draft onwards and engage through BSW-Solar, so our projects are planned for the rules ahead.
Partnership models
How we partner
Each model can be combined with Ylektra as EPC contractor.
Project acquisition
Acquire projects at ready-to-build or at commercial operation.
Co-development
Fund development from land security to permit, with milestone payments and a share in the upside.
Portfolio partnership
Programmatic access to part of our pipeline under a framework agreement.
Storage co-investment
Battery storage at our solar sites or standalone, developed and built with Ylektra.

FAQ
Questions from investors
As of October 2026
How can institutional investors invest in German agrivoltaics with Ylektra?
Investors can acquire projects at ready-to-build or at commercial operation, co-develop projects from land security to permit, enter a portfolio partnership under a framework agreement, or co-invest in battery storage. Each model can be combined with Ylektra as EPC contractor.
How large is Ylektra’s project pipeline?
Ylektra has a pipeline of more than 850 MW of agrivoltaic and hybrid projects on more than 950 hectares of agricultural land in several German federal states. A detailed overview by stage, state and grid status is available under NDA.
Can awarded EEG projects be sold to investors?
Under the government bill for the EEG 2027, the requirement that the bidder must also operate the plant at commissioning no longer applies. This makes it easier for institutional investors to acquire projects after the award. The law has not yet been adopted.
Are agrivoltaic projects in Germany possible without EEG support?
Yes, under suitable conditions. Ylektra’s project in Soest-Deiringsen (about 5.1 MWp) is built outside the EEG, with the local utility as offtaker and a grid connection shared with a neighbouring wind farm.
What is the next step for an interested investor?
An introductory call on mandate, ticket size and preferred stage, followed by a pipeline overview under NDA, a data room with site visits, and a term sheet.
